"TIMESHARE FANS" PROGRAM LAUNCHED BY ARDA
WASHINGTON – November 1, 2011 – “My kids have enjoyed our timeshare and now they are bringing their kids to enjoy it,” said Kirkwood Edwards, Holiday Inn Club Vacations®. “I think this is the way it’s supposed to be.”
And so do nearly 8 million timeshare owners. The American Resort Development Association (ARDA) is partnering with its members to bring the passion of owners to other vacationers through its “Timeshare Fans” Program. These Fans will explain – in their own words – why they love their timeshare.
The program will showcase owners from different resorts each month – through video, photos and blogs – to bring a clear picture of what timeshare offers and why it truly is a better way to vacation. In this kick-off month, Holiday Inn Club Vacations spoke to several of its owners at its Orange Lake Resort in Orlando, Florida. One couple, Constance and Kirkwood Edwards, from Freeport, Bahamas, have been owners for 17 years and vacation annually with their family in Orlando.
